The James River Presbytery will convene for its 2020 Summer Stated Meeting on Saturday, August 8, 2020, in the sanctuary of Sycamore Presbyterian Church in Midlothian, Virginia (510 Coalfield Rd, Midlothian, VA 23114). The meeting will begin with worship at 8:30 a.m., and the business meeting will follow at 10:00 a.m.
In light of COVID-19 restrictions, social-distancing and masks are mandatory inside. The sanctuary will be set up as best as possible to encourage social distancing. To limit contact exposure, there will be no nametags, and we will have an old-fashioned roll call, so make sure you are on time. Lunch will also be provided by the host church. Please register for the meeting from the members area of the website (Password is Ihs4me@), and note whether you will be staying for lunch to provide an accurate count for the host church.
The docket, minutes for the last meeting(s), and committee/commission reports (as they are received) will also be posted on the JRP’s website at http://www.jrp-pca.org/members (Password is Ihs4me@). Please print copies of these materials to bring to the meeting as no hard copies will be provided. Each committee/commission chair should bring a signed copy of his committee/commission’s report to the meeting and deliver it to me.

- We will have a time for Memorials to be offered for any brothers of our assembly who have passed on to glory in the last year; please send me an email if you would like to offer one during my report.
